A Counselor’s Writing on Therapy, Trauma, and Grief

- And How They Shape Us

This site is a place for my writing and reflections on the inner lives we carry, especially around trauma, loss, life transitions and how we make meaning after difficult experiences.

My perspective is shaped by my work as a counselor working with individuals and couples navigating a wide range of trauma histories, as well as my time spent with families during periods of illness, grief, and uncertainty. I’m interested not only in moments of crisis, but in what comes after; how people live with what they’ve been through, and how healing unfolds over time.

You’ll find essays here written for clients, clinicians, and anyone interested in trauma-informed care, grief, and the inner life.
